I tried Goodreads a few years ago, but as much as I wanted to enjoy it, it just didn’t click for me. I loved the idea behind it though. After more research and trying to decide how to possibly expand my author’s presence online (without getting swamped), I decided to give a try to iAuthor. You can find my profile here. I added my recently published book A Galaxy of Possibilities: Representation and Storytelling in Star Wars.
I am curious to see how things go. I know that many people advise to have a Facebook page, but I just feel uncomfortable with having one, so it wasn’t an option for me.
Does any of you have experience with iAuthor?
I’ll have to check that out. 🙂

I hadn’t heard of it. I’ll check it out. I am on Goodreads though.

I think that Goodreads will likely remain a bigger platform, but I couldn’t handle it. I tried for a while but Goodreads just stressed me out.

You! So good to see you around! I think that many people love Goodreads but it’s a platform I just couldn’t take. I found it too stressful for me.

Always good to avoid sites that stress you out. That’s why I don’t use Facebook anymore.
